WordPress to Website & Other Decisions

I am attempting to change my WordPress blog into a new website for my business. I’ve spent a considerable amount of time so far and have not been able to resolve one issue.

I’d like to eliminate all reply boxes and follow buttons. I thought I checked off all the necessary boxes, but I’m still unable to get what I want – which is a clean, clear site.

Can you tell me how to eliminate those elements? If I purchased a premium package, would I be able to call someone and get direct, over the phone support to change my wordpress blog into a business website?

The blog I need help with is oakviewmedia.wordpress.com.

There is no free phone support, nor any phone support at all by staffers at WordPress.com. Some consultants such as myself do offer paid phone support, but it’s hardly worth it for something like this.

You can disable comments under Dashboard->Settings->Discussion. On pre-existing posts and pages, you’ll have to edit them and disable discussion on the Edit Page for each one.

    Thank you raincoaster.

I am trying to get rid of the “leave a reply” box at the bottom of every page. I’ve already turned off everything I can think of and I still have that box, which would imply someone could “discuss” the page. If I could get rid of that box, I’d have a perfect slate on which to build the website.

    Thank you again!
