I’ve just been informed that there won’t be a Year in Review this year, but it might be back in a different form in future.

Hi!
I have also looked in my mail for the annual report. It has been such a joy every year. The report is a very nice feature that I appreciate as a wordpress user. I really hope it comes back.It does not feel good that such pleasent feature disappears, like also the trophie-page has. … :(
These details add joy and a homely atmosphere to the blog.
I am paying for my site, so I am really NOT happy to loose these things! -
Hi could you please generate a 2016 report for my blog : anneemma.wordpress.com
Thank you -
Hello, as @geoffreyshilling has said above, Staff have advised in this thread that there won’t be a year in review published for 2016 https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/annual-year-in-review-for-2016-for-my-blog?replies=13#post-2826895
There were some great suggestions from the Daily Post about creating your own Year in Review. You can find it here: https://dailypost.wordpress.com/2016/12/15/your-blogs-year-in-review/
As far as stats go a lot of the raw information is already available to you in your yearly stats at https://wordpress.com/stats/year/
Although not presented as charmingly as in the official Annual Report you can see the number of posts you published, how many views and visitors you had, as well as the number of comments and Likes. Scroll down further to see your most visited posts, where they linked in from and the countries your visitors came from.

Really down now by this news.
I like the end of year thingy, and as the format of the personal blog admin keeps changing with some features I like constantly removed making it harder to simply find the dashboard…it was nice to have some consistency.
Can’t you have some simple request based service for those who want one?

really disappointed by WordPress.com by skipping or discontinuing the Annual Report feature, I was eagerly waiting for it.
B.T.W I’ve created a customized post for myself by using the Stats, check here: https://sqlwithmanoj.com/2016/12/31/2016-blogging-in-review/

@justjennifer: sorry to read this. I’ve missed the other topics about this. Sorry about that. For me, it wasn’t really about the numbers, more a nice recurring blog that I liked to use to thank all the people who visited my blog over the year. Since WordPress is a free service and there’s hardly any problem of complaint (from my part), it’s not so bad there’s no annual report this year.
Keep up the good work.
best wishes -
Please wordpress the annual roundup was a great idea. Please do it and send us the email soon. Thanks.

Hi everyone,
We understand you’re disappointed! The annual report may back in a different form in the future, but as you’ve seen there will be no annual reports for 2016.
Thanks for your comments, it’s nice to see how much the annual reports are loved :)
I’ll pass this feedback onto the team!

Hello! I have looked in my mail for the 2016 in review, but I didn´t receive anything. I´m waiting, because it was very important. Thank you! Happy New Year

@stefdenflater no worries. I’m glad that WordPressdotcom is collecting user feedback for possible future reports. Meanwhile don’t let the lack of an “official” report stop you from thanking your readers. :) Happy blogging and best wishes for the coming year.

Yes I can pull 2016 numbers from the stats page but the one I like the most is who were the most active commenters for the year – and I cannot find that on the stat page. Does anyone know how to find the most active commenters for the year? (I seem to be only able to find the most active commenters for the current year under “insights”).
