Yoko theme remove extra and empty space

  1. I'm using the Yoko theme and there is an empty area between the final content and the footer that I would like to remove with custom css if possible. It seems to be the way the template works.

    Any ideas how to do this?

    Thanks

    The blog I need help with is geezergallery.com.

  2. I would also like to remove empty spaces on the Gateway theme, especially between the Custom header and the slideshow below.
    The blog I need help with is susanbarwoodphotography.com
    Thanks

  3. Hi @susanbarwood192, since you are using a different theme, and since CSS is generally theme specific, can I ask you to create a new thread in the CSS Forum? Many thanks in advance.

  4. @summerk9000, there are two things creating that space. One is the div for the comments and the second is padding and margin on the bottom of the content div. Add the following CSS to get rid of those.

    #comments {
        display: none;
    }
    #content .page {
        border-bottom: none;
        padding-bottom: 0;
        margin-bottom: 0;
    }
  5. Thanks! That did the trick.

    But if people do comment on the blog page will it not display it?

  6. No, the comments will not display. It looks like you have commenting disabled or turned off on your pages. You can remove the first rule I gave to keep the comments div there in case you later allow comments.
