Yes, I believe you have “misclassified” my site and a private client area. I have reeeeeeally confused clients that can’t find their information and my information regarding my real estate brokerage I’ve had for years. I have (.com) top level domain name that points to the space and have read over and over the TOS and found no violation. We are in panic mode here at the office, please help us to resolve asap. We are in danger of loss of business and client base. We have used this area in good faith for years without problems. This is sudden and we’ve lost out site and years of blogging work, please help. Thank you, Paul Anibal

Well, I’m not staff but from a quick glance at the Google cache it sure looks like you’re hosting paid or affilate ads in your sidebar. If not, what relation are you to et al? That’s against the ToS.

In any case, posting in the forum isn’t going to help. You need to contact staff via

raincoaster: What ToS are you looking at? The one at the bottom of this page says that Automattic can insert ads. I’m not finding a prohibition of ads.

See the reference links below as the policy is not to discuss such matters in forum threads.

We volunteers answering support questions here can’t help you. You have a warning notice with a link — please click that link as it works at all times (even when the regular contact form is closed). There’s also a contact form you can use to reach them at the bottom of this page

If you have already contacted Staff, the Terms of Service department certainly received your request. Please be patient as they’ll be getting back to you as soon as they can.

Mistakes can be made but as a policy, we are asked to refrain from discussing Terms of Service issues on these public forums.

P.S. We Volunteers have no idea how long it will take ToS Staff to get back to you. It’s the weekend and that may be a factor.
