Your OpenID credentials could not be verified.

I am attempting to add a comment to an entry on blogspot and keep getting an error that states: “Your OpenID credentials could not be verified.” Any remedies?

The blog I need help with is

Unfortunately, no. I’ve had nothing but trouble with OpenID, and use Username/URL instead. Since OpenID doesn’t even include an avatar, there’s no particular advantage to using it, even if it DID work.

Had this problem on, but found if I pressed ‘preview’ under the comment I was directed to a page ‘Trust this Website with Your..’ something-or-other, I entered a name and nickname, clicked “Yes (just this time)”, and it posted just fine.

I have the exact same problem, except I can’t get it to work the way throughthegate did. It’s so frustrating!

Just sign up for a google username and password and use that. I don’t know what it is about blogger and open ID, but I’ve never had any luck with it.

You might though try going to settings > open ID in your dashboard here and adding the URL of the blog to your “trusted” sites.

Ha! The “preview” thing worked for me. Thanks throughthegate!!

The preview thing didn’t work for me. Any more thoughts?
