youtube advertisements showing up on my pages

My clients are complaining of YouTube video advertisements on my pages. I checked and they are correct…at the very bottom of the pages an ad is posted.

Any idea how this happened and how I rid myself of these? Is this WordPress or Youtube doing this?

The blog I need help with is ispeakeasyblog.wordpress.com.

From the support document on advertising:

Note: To support the service (and keep free features free), we sometimes run advertisements. We try hard to only run them in limited places. If you would like to completely eliminate ads from appearing on your blog, we offer the No-Ads Upgrade.

    From the Terms of Service:

    9. Advertisements. Automattic reserves the right to display advertisements on your blog unless you have purchased an Ad-free Upgrade or a VIP Services account.

WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. Many bloggers do not know this because despite the fact they ticked the box required to get a free blog, they did not read the ToS. Many also do not read features page, or advertising entry in the support documents after registering their username and blog(s). Also note that as the ads do not display to us when we are logged in, and as many use browsers with ad blockers when logged out, they may not realize they are there at all. The only way to get rid of all advertising on our free hosted WordPress.com blogs is to purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade.

If you feel an ad is inappropriate please take a screenshot of it and send it to Staff by emailing support@wordpress.com or upload it into your Media Library and contact Staff and let them know it’s there for them to view.

Dear WordPress CEO and Defenders of the Mighty ToS: your practice of running inappropriate ads on member pages has these effects:

    – readers do not want to access those pages
    – pages do not get read
    – advertisers don’t get viewed
    – advertisers stop doing business with WordPress
    – bloggers leave WordPress

    Ultimately, you lose.

This is a peer support forum where Volunteers ie. your fellow bloggers, who have no role to play in setting policy, merely point to it when asked. If you would like to address Staff and Management then the way to do that and share your feedback with them is to contact them directly. Here’s the link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ After you use the searchbox, under the search results, at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.
