Emiko Stock | Photo-video apprentice and disciple of anthropology. From formal studies to informal tea times and back, I have been passing by - and staying put - with Chams in Cambodia since 2000, and inspired by photography and videography to translate the images listened to and the stories looked through. Ongoing: a PhD research regularly hitting the repeat button and pondering if a surplus of images can be a response to the vanishing of history. A dwelling in a visual anthropology focused on 1/ popular photography holding on to historicity' silences, and 2/ wedding videography looking with what is left unseen.
