"Perhaps it's impossible to wear an identity without becoming what you pretend to be." "I think it's impossible to really understand somebody, what they want, what they believe, and not love them the way they love themselves." As he thought of it, though, he could not imagine what "just living" might actually be. He had never done it in his life. But he wanted to do it anyway. -- All from my favorite book, Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card --I consider myself well-versed in the pleasures of life God has given to His people to enjoy. The indulgences I allow myself in reading, entertainment, and cooking are helpfully distracting, and necessarily so as I work in a church doing family life ministry. The certificate on my wall says geek (or it would if I had a certificate), but it really means "well-rounded." I love traveling, but am hardly afforded the opportunity to do it. I especially love the Celtic stories and cannot wait until the day I am able to immerse myself in those lands. I love photos, but I wish I were better at photography (my best so far can be found to the right). I love my Jesus, my family, my friends, and my cat, in that order.
