I am a passionate home cook with a background in early childhood education. In 2010, after nine years in the classroom, I left the teaching world to pursue my thirst for creativity and independence and push my love of food to a whole new level. Today, I am owner of Plan to Plate, a small business focused on helping folks eat fresh, delicious foods at home. I plan dinner menus, write personalized recipes, do the grocery shopping, and prepare and cook meals for individuals and families. My passion for fresh ingredients, love of cooking, and mild obsession to organize and plan have turned me into something of a Food Fairy, bringing goodness to others through food daily. When I'm not "working", I am generally at a farmer's market with my husband, planning our next culinary adventure, or in the kitchen trying out new dishes inspired by seasonal ingredients. Lucky for me, I write recipes for Turtle Bend Farm sharing ideas with their CSA members, encouraging them to embrace their naturally grown fruits and veggies in new ways. This means I have access to some seriously beautiful produce three seasons of the year. And I am not mad. Truly, I am a very happy girl- uh, lady. Thankful for every single day.
