Writer, author, novelist. Preferred writing topics: WWII Britain; The 1940s era; Animal welfare and animal abuse; Politicians and politics; Rosalind Went was born in Wales and spent her childhood in Wales and England before immigrating to Canada in 1969. She has written computer courseware and taught computer-related courses since 1985. In the 1990s she wrote articles and reviews that appeared in a Canadian trade publication. Although writing is her prime focus, she is also a digital photography enthusiast. This has led to the self-publishing of softcover and hardcover books of her many and varied collections. Rosalind is also an avid admirer of Spanish bel canto soprano, opera singer, Montserrat Caballe and - completely unrelated - an avid fan of all things retro and vintage. Not so vintage, but steeped in tradition, the Cunard ocean liner, Queen Mary 2, is her favourite place to be when not on land. Not content with calm seas and blue skies, the author and her husband prefer gale force seas and stormy skies as they traverse the grey Atlantic Ocean. The imprint - BritishGinger Press - appears on all of Rosalind’s writing, photography and music projects. The author lives in southern Ontario, Canada with her husband and daughters. 'Harbinger of Secrets' is her first novel. Appears in: Chapters-Indigo Authors & Artists. Member of the St. Catharines Standard Community Editorial Board 2009/2010. Member of the St. Catharines Standard Niagara Voices columnists, 2009/2010. Member of Amazon Author Central. "Harbinger of Secrets" is available worldwide via Amazon and other fine online booksellers. It is also available in eBook format at Apple's iBookStore and in Kindle eBook format.
