Sam is an Entrepreneur, Producer, and Creative Strategist. He is focused on understanding the challenges that entrepreneurs and businesses face and helping them build a path to success through providing design, marketing, and strategic services and connections. Before breaking out on his own, Sam was Creative Director at TILE Financial. Sam oversaw the aesthetic and brand direction of TILE. He was responsible for creating new projects and member engagement strategies and for planning and managing the company’s content, design, and communications. Sam worked with internal and external teams to assure the efficient creation, curation, and distribution of quality multimedia content. Before joining TILE, Sam was a Business Manager at Fahrenheit 212, an innovation consultancy. He was a key team member throughout the innovation journey, from inception through final implementation of ideas. Sam worked with clients such as Coca Cola, Adidas, Harrah’s Entertainment, and Capital One to create new businesses and products and to unlock the full potential of clients’ businesses. Sam started exploring innovation as a 12-year-old magician and has been obsessed with identifying and understanding human perceptions and experiences ever since. In 2005, Sam was instrumental in starting imp (the Intelligent Media Platform), a digital media player that could be embedded anywhere on the Internet. He was involved in every part of imp’s development from concept, design, and modeling through fundraising and partnerships. Sam helped drive imp’s strategy, raised $1,000,000 in first round angel investments, and was responsible for more than a dozen of the company’s first partnerships. Sam is a Director at the Threshold Foundation and Founder of mncultureclub.com, a website dedicated to highlighting and promoting Minnesota’s arts and culture beyond its borders.
