I am a retired chemist, just embarking on a new career in teaching. My skepticism and atheism stems from being a lifelong feminist and having a questioning nature. Atheism is a natural extension of feminism. The skepticism arose, in part, from my science background and applying the scientific method to daily problem solving. I am striving for clarity on how the theory of skepticism and feminism connect. What is there in common? Are the two theories opposed in any way? I do not see opposition between the two theories , thus far, but seek to explore this further.
