When I was asked as a kid what it was that I wanted to do when I left school, I would always say "Something arty. Or something crafty. Or something arty and crafty!". I didn't really have any firm plans on a career. Turns out it was just as well I didn't get my ideal job, because, after many years of just doing whatever job I could get, (and there were many), I ended up getting a chronic illness and therefore unable to work. My health does, over a long period of time, fluctuate, so that sometimes, if I'm lucky, I can actually do arts and crafts - as long as I keep my feet elevated as much as possible, and don't do anything strenuous or that involves too much concentration. And that's the great thing about blogging - you can add bits, save a draft, add a bit more, save it, read, re-read, double check, and then when you're ready, publish! So regardless of my health, I get to share the things I make here, with you.
