I was born and raised in the small beach city of Santa Cruz, California, where locals like to call paradise. I grew up spending part of my life in the redwood forest situated on the mountains surrounding Santa Cruz. The rest of my time I was in the town, rushing to catch the cold, spectacular waves arriving from out in the Pacific. To this day, my entire family resides in Santa Cruz. My grandmother Josephine has been an integral part of my life; her house seeping with the smells of generations of Italian cooking. Maybe my quest out towards the world began in her kitchen, listening to her speak of the recipes that came from the old world. During my completion of a Psychology degree at UC San Diego, I took the path abroad - Barcelona, Spain in 2005. This is where it all begun... Enthralled with the mixing of cultures, languages, people and accents, I became addicted to the unknown. Traveling became my main objective in life. I returned to Barcelona and Ibiza the following year. I challenged myself in the surf of Indonesia, and danced barefoot in the sand during the full moon party in Thailand. I soon looked toward South America - nomadically wondering the coast of Chile searching for waves, before moving to Argentina and the frothing endless nights of Buenos Aires. I finally found my self influx with the vibrations of Brazil. So there is where I came to live, in the middle of the vibration; I am somewhere in South Brazil.
